How do I set up working zones for specific Noodoe Waiter Wristbands?

To set up specific working zones (groups of tables), simply identify which Service Blocks will constitute a zone and then, on the tablet, match the Noodoe Waiter Wristbands to the zones you have previously defined.

How do I add new Service Blocks to a table?

Using Noodoe tablet, open Noodoe app, press menu on the top right of the screen and select “Add blocks/wristband”. Follow the instruction to complete add process.


Why don’t the waiter wristbands respond immediately when Flip the service blocks?

  • 1. Please check the “Block sensitivity” status in the settings. If the settings is set to “Lite”, the message sending is delayed for a second to confirm customer’s intent when the service block is flipped.
  • 2. Please make sure the service blocks and paired wristband is in working range (25m).

  • 3. Please check the battery of service blocks and wristband, if the battery is low or out, charge it.

  • 4. Please charge service blocks and wristbands to reset them, make sure the battery is over 50% and try again.
  • If the problem still persists, please contact our technical support for specific assistance.


    The waiter wristbands don’t respond when I Flip the Service Blocks.

  • 1. Charge both the Service Blocks and the Waiter Wristbands to full energy levels.
  • 2. Make sure there is nothing interfering or physically blocking the connection between the Service Blocks and Waiter Wristbands and that you are operating within the 25 meter distance.
  • 3. Confirm the Block sensitivity settings.
  • If the problem still persists, please contact our technical support for specific assistance.


    Is there any way to prevent service blocks from transmitting false requests if guests are playing with the blocks?

    Yes, our service blocks include a smart-algorithm that will withhold false requests if it detects that the service blocks are being examined. As long as the “Block Sensitivity” setting is set to “Sensitive”, “Normal”, or “Lite,” the service blocks will not transmit false requests that occur due to guests playing with or examining them.

    Why didn’t my settings of blocks and wristbands reset to factory settings after the firmware update?

    The firmware update DOES NOT change any settings of your devices.


    Why is my service block continuously vibrating?

  • 1. Please check to see if “Security Alert” is turned on.
  • 2. Please place the service block on a flat surface and leave it to rest until it stops vibrating.
*Note: If multiple service blocks are continuously vibrating, please place them on a flat surface with some distance between them, as the vibration from nearby blocks may affect the calibration within a service block and prevent it from resetting.

  • Why is the status of my service blocks displayed incorrectly on the tablet?

  • 1. Please make sure that Service for Noodoe for Restaurants is turned ON.
  • 2. Please make sure that Bluetooth on your tablet is turned ON.
  • 3. Please check that the service blocks and the tablet are within the maximum communication range (25 meters or 80 feet).
  • 4. Please try restarting the tablet and then re-launching the Noodoe for Restaurants application.
  • 5. Please reset your service blocks by plugging in all affected service blocks into their USB chargers and connecting them to a power source to charge them. Then, flip one of the service blocks to re-establish a connection between all paired devices.

  • If the problem still persists, please contact our technical support for specific assistance.


    After I turn Security Alert on, a failure message pops up. How can I fix it?

    Please follow the steps below to fix this problem:

  • 1. Restart the tablet and then re-launch the Noodoe for Restaurants application.
  • 2. Connect the service blocks to their USB cable and begin charging them to reset them.
  • 3. Try to apply the Security Alert settings again.
  • If the problem still persists, please contact our technical support for specific assistance.


    The battery icon of my service block shows up as a question mark on the paired wristband. How can I fix this?

    This is because the wristband hasn't recently received information from the service block. You can fix this problem by flipping the service block.

    How do I charge Service Blocks and Waiter Wristbands? How many Service Blocks and Waiter Wristbands can I charge at one time?

  • 1. Please plug the Service Blocks and Waiter Wristbands into the USB hub.
  • 2. The USB hub can charge all the Service Blocks and Waiter Wristbands in a kit at the same time.
  • Noodoe will provide an adequate number of USB hubs with your order.


    How can I see the battery life of the service blocks?

    How can I see the battery life of the service blocks? There are two ways to view the battery life of a service block:

  • 1. By Noodoe tablet: On the service block dashboard, you can see the battery life of each service block. *Tip: To easily display the battery level of various service blocks, you can change the sorting method of the service blocks to “battery”
  • 2. From the Waiter Wristband: Rotate your wrist to flip the wristband upside down for one second, and then back again to display various statuses: the wristband’s name, its battery level, and the battery level of connected blocks.

  • The time on my wristbands is incorrect. How can I fix it?

    Please follow the steps below to fix this problem:

  • 1. Please make sure that Bluetooth is enabled on your tablet.
  • 2. Connect all of the wristbands to USB cables and begin charging them to reset their time.
  • 3. Connect all of the paired service blocks to the USB cable and begin charging them to reset their time. Please flip one of the service blocks to establish a connection with the wristband.
  • 4. If the problem still persists after the previous two steps, please confirm the system time of tablet is local time and restart it, and then follow the steps again.
